No Not at all ! There is no ragging in LPU. Ragging is totally prohibited in university. If someone is found voilating the rules and regulations would be punished according to UGC guidelines. So the association between seniors and juniors is quite amicable. There are no complications and rather they behave in much friendly manner. I remember one of the incidents where I was stuck up with some technical glitch in my preparation of the presentation and how one of the seniors had helped me and also lent me her laptop. Because of her only I was able to give my presentation. I hope this would help!

I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE.
There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU.
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft.

In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. In order to take admission in any course you need to qaulify the eligibility criteria and along with that you need to appear for LPU NEST which depends of the domain that you are planning to take admission. Yes, there is a cut off for LPU NEST for every course that you need to attain to get an admission into that course. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. LPU NEST exam time also depends upon the course that you wish to take admission. For B.Tech courses even the previous year sample test can be downloaded from the LPU website. In order to apply the candidate needs to visit LPU website and apply and according has to book a slot. LPU NEST will be conducted online while the candidate is sitting at home in a proctored mode.
