Applicants need to fulfil the following basic eligibility requirements in order to apply for Migration/ Transfer process. The application of the applicant who meets the eligibility requirements will be reviewed and verified by the University Officials for further process. The Programme you are interested to apply at LPU should be similar to the programme you are currently enrolled in. Students who are seeking migration/ transfer are requested to apply in certain time line kindly refer LPU website. This helps to ensure that the transfer students will be able to join the classes in the upcoming term of the select programme with existing batch after verification of the documents. If migrating applicant has Backlog/ Compartment/ Reappear in any subject may not be considered by the University for Admission. Applicants who are previously enrolled in a regular Programme, may not be considered for admission to Dual Degree/ Integrated/ Honours/ International Exposure/ Credit Transfer Programmes. Application for admission will only be accepted if applicant shall spend two or more years in LPU. Migration/ Transfer Request in Programme is subject to the availability of the seats in that Programme.

Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST.
