I would say, Lovely professional University is one of the most prestigious universities in India. It offers 200+ programs and courses at Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. I did post graduation from this University and I have few friends who has done BCA and currently they are working with MNCs with decent package. One of my friend told me that In BCA you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective. The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Don't miss out on that as in the end, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. Placements at LPU is a major known factor and the preparations for it start soon after joining classes at LPU itself and the students are guided until and unless they secure a job for themselves. To get placed in some company I would say it depends on your potential also. LPU provides ample opportunity for all students. As per my observance engineering at LPU is well known for its placements packages, then management and then any other course placements are rated. Certainly, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, the number of admissions in the CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. The average package of the university is around 5 Lacs per annum and the highest package offered to a student of LPU in 2019-20 was Rs. 42 Lacs per annum. It was bagged by a student of B.Tech. CSE student only. Take your decision wisely and one more thing note down that thinking of placements first and then choosing any course is not a better way to think, instead, think of course/programme you are interested in first as per your keen interest.
