Admissions in MIT Institute of Design are based on Institute-based entrance exam. The university conducts a Design Aptitude Test. Selection procedure consists of three stages. First stage is Design Aptitude Test, followed by Studio Test and PI. In first stage, number of selected students are four times of total intake. Every stage filters number of applicants. The final merit list is based on performance in all stages. 

The admissions are based on DAT scores. Registration for the exam starts from October. The application deadline is February last week. Exam is conducted in all over the country. Some of the offered courses are Fashion communication, Graphic Design, etc. The programme is offered in full-time mode for four years. Admissions are conducted by University. The university conducts its own entrance test. Selection process includes three stages. Applicants have to qualify Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Second stage includes a Studio Test followed by Personal Interview. 

To join, you need at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Math in your Class 12 exams. You also need 50% in English in either Class 10 or 12. Since this is a seafaring career, you must be physically fit and have 6/6 vision without glasses. No color blindness is allowed. You also need to clear the IMU-CET entrance exam and a medical test by a DG Shipping-approved doctor.

Total amount of scholarship is not available as per official website. It is provided to 5% of new students every year. Scholarship provided can be full or partial. Every student who has taken fresh admission is eligible to apply. Selection is done by University. It also depends upon academic performance and financial needs of a student. Scholarship form is submitted offline in hard-copy. Documents like income certificate, etc. are to be attached with the form.

As per official website, there is no bifurcation of State and All India Quota. However, seat reservation is only for Maharashtra applicants. All applicants outside Maharashtra are considered in General category. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC is up to 50%. For EWS category, and additional 10% reservation is there. Moreover, 5% seats are reserved for children of Service Personnel.  

The total fee is INR 13 lakh. It includes components like hostel fee, mess & laundry charges, etc. Hostel facility is optional for students. Students who don't opt for hostels, do not have to pay fee for it. There is a refundable security deposit of INR 15,000. It is paid in first year only.

Yes, the fee structure is quite inclusive for students. For the B.Sc. Nautical Science at MANET Pune, the semester fees specifically include hostel accommodation, mess charges for meals, and laundry services. Every semester, students pay a fixed amount of INR 47,500 for the hostel and INR 50,000 for mess and laundry combined.
