Yes you can definitely apply at MITSOB with your CET score. But let me tell you, entrance exam result is only one criteria for admission process. Entire evaluation of admission process comprises of : - Score obtained by candidate at CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/CET exams, - Performance at Extempore Talk (Including written essay), - Performance at Personal Interview, - Past Academic Record (10th & 12th level), - Work Experience (if any) after graduation of at least 1 year or more. For Extempore talk and essay, topics are selected from the news paper headlines from any of the newspaper such as Times of India, Economical Times, Business Standard and more on current affairs, political views, economical views, general knowledge, etc. Thus I would recommend you to start reading news papers and be updated with current happenings in India. To give an example of topics, the can be:Your views about Swatch Bharat, Do you consider Make in India a Success?, Possible reasons on 'why BJP lost in Bihar's Election?', your comnents on JNU issues, your views about recent budget, should they increase defence budget, etc.

Hello Ashwin, The basic difference between MIT-SOB and MIT-SOT is that, MIT-SOB has a case based pedagogy which is adopted from Harvard Business School which also includes conceptual style studying and not contextual studies. Also placements at MIT-SOB is better then MIT-SOT. Attendance at MITSOB should be more than 90% which is mandatory. In case of MITSOT i guess it is not that much of a compulsion but every college changes thier policies and regulation every few years so cannot be sure. Student at MiT SOB are grommed to be professional, punctual and hard working.
