Q. How can I apply for MIT in Pune?

A. To apply for admission at MIT-WPU, students need to apply on the official website of MIT-WPU. The first step of the MIT Pune admission process includes approaching the University and filling out the application form. MIT Pune's step-wise application process is given below:

  6. Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the specified size and pay an application fee of INR 1,500 using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Q. Does MIT Pune accept MHT-CET scores?

A. Yes, MIT Pune accepts the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) entrance test scores for admission to a few undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For MIT Pune BTech admission, the University accepts either JEE Main/ MHT-CET or PERA CET entrance exam scores. Apart from BTech, MIT-WPU also accepts MHT- CET for MBA and BPharm admission. No, MIT-WPU Pune offers admission to its UG and PG courses through various state and national-level entrance exams such as PERA CET, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NEET UG, etc. The university also conducts its in-house entrance exam, i.e., MIT WPU CET. Those who want to get admission to any of the UG and PG course at MIT Pune, must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place and then appear for the respective entrance exams.   2. Admission Counselling and Join WhatsApp Group: After filling out the MIT Puneregistration form, candidates must appear for the counselling round. After the counselling process, students need to join the University's Whatsapp group for upcoming admission-related information.
  3. Orientation Workshop & Selection Round: The next step is to attend the Orientation Workshop which will give students a glimpse of MIT Pune's academic model. After this, a list of candidates is called for a GD & PI round. The list of eligible candidates is prepared based on their performance in national-level entrance exams including CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MHT CET/ WPU MAT etc.
  4. Declaration of Merit List & Offer Letter: Based on candidates' performance in the final round i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview, a final merit list will be prepared. Students whose names appear in the final merit list are eligible to take admission to MIT Pune. The University will release the offer letter to the student's registered email address.

A. The admission to MIT-WPU Pune two-year full-time MBA course has a specific selection process. Interested candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., Graduate with 60% aggregate in the respective subjects from a recognised university (55% for reserved category candidates of Maharashtra state only). For the next step, they must appear in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ PERA CET/ MAH-CET/ MAT entrance exams, which are particularly conducted for admission of candidates in Management courses. This exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to MBA courses in various institutes in the state of Maharashtra. Q. BTech: Does MIT-WPU accept JEE Main score for BTech?

A. Yes, MIT-WPU offers admission to a UG course of BTech for a duration of four years. Admission to this course is entrance-based. The university accepts a valid score of JEE Main, which is conducted by NTA in two phases for admission to Engineering courses. A. MIT-WPU offers a four-year BTech course across 15 specialisations. The university also offers admission to direct second year of BTech course Lateral Entry. Q. BBA: Is BBA course available at MIT-WPU?

A. Yes, MIT-WPU offers a three-year and a four-year BBA course. These courses are offered across 11 specialisations in total. These are Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management, Branding and Advertising, Global e-Business, HR Management, International Business, Global Marketing and Event Management, Banking Finance & Insurance, Business Analytics, Global Business & Management and Branding and Advertising. The three-year BBA is also offered in dual specialisations where students get to study with two specialisations simultaneously from (Marketing/Finance/ HR with CSR/Sports/Travel & Tourism/ Entrepreneurship Management). 

Q. BBA: Does MIT have an entrance exam for BBA?

A. Yes, there is an entrance exam. MIT-WPU offers admission to a three-year and a four-year BBA course in the stream of Management. The university has similar eligibility criteria for admission to both courses. For admission to BBA course, the university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., MIT-WPU Common Entrance Test (MIT WPU CET), which needs to be qualified with a valid score. Apart from that, the university also considers the score of the personal interview, which is mandatory to pass for every entrance exam qualified student. 

Q. BBA: Who are eligible to apply for BBA at MIT Pune?

A. MIT Pune offers a three and four-year BBA course. In order to get admission to BBA at MIT Pune, there is a minimum eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled before applying for the course, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate with English subject in any stream (at least 55% marks, in case of Backward class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only). Students who have Diploma with 60% aggregate in any stream from Any UGC-approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject are also eligible to apply. The eligibility criteria for both three and four-year BBA courses is same. 

Q. MCA: Is MIT-WPU Pune good for MCA?

A. MIT Pune offers MCA course for a duration of three years in the streams of Management and Science. The curriculum of this course is designed in such a way that it mostly emphasizes the practical learning of students through Application Development and thus has more emphasis on the latest programming language and tools to provide students with real-time field-related exposure. The placement cell of MIT-WPU also witnesses a good placement record in last year placement drive for MCA course. The average recorded package was around INR 4.5 LPA to INR LPA, while package went up to INR 10 LPA.

A. Yes, MIT Pune is good for the BPharm course. During MIT WPU Pune placements in the last year, the highest salary package offered was INR 8 LPA. On the other hand, the average salary package stood at INR 3.5 LPA. The university offers opportunities to its students to take part in its Collaborative research projects by private labs and most of the projects are funded by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

A. The admission process for BPharm at MIT Pune begins for students by fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB from a recognised board. Students who belong from backward class categories from the state of Maharashtra are required to get 55% aggregate. As per the next step, the admission is given based on entrance exams such as NEET UG/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ JEE Main. Aspirants need to qualify for the respective entrance exams with a valid score. Teachers of MIT-WPU are so kind, and clear our doubts.

Placements: Campus placement in our college is great. Various MNCs reached us for internship, and placement opportunities. The average package is 6,00,000, and the highest package is around 12,00,000.

Infrastructure: The hostel fee of MIT WPU, is Rs 1,60,000. Hostels are inside the college campus, with proper hygiene. The mess food is good. There are many private hostels available, near MIT-WPU, kotrud.

Our college has good infrastructure, faculty members, and sports facilities.

Placements: There are many students in this course as it is a common course. Internships are offered in our course. It is one of the top colleges for placements. There are the best opportunities in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. All facilities are available in this course. Hostels are good. The food served in the hostel is better. Sports are conducted. High-speed Wi-Fi is available. Canteen is also available. The exam hall is air-conditioned.

Overall this college is average but you can choose this for the placement they offer.

Placements: About 90% students are placed the highest package offered is around 30Lpa the lowest is around 4 LPA and average is around 6lpa. Top recruitment are mainly from Amazon and 95% of student get internship. The subject which they choose for the course are demanding for the company.

Infrastructure: The facilities overall is very good for the newly constructed buildings but for old buildings the facil are average but if we talk about library its top notch. Talking about the extra curricular its not up to the mark bec...

I am satisfied with the facilities. You don't have to buy any additional study materials.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in the mechanical stream in the 2021 batch. The highest package was around 11 LPA, and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Infosys, BKT Tyres, and Mahindra. All students got internships in different companies like Eicher Tractors, Indian Railways, Ultratech Cement, etc. The role offered was graduate engineer trainee.

Placements: I don't know much about it. Many good companies come to our college and I guess 8-10 Lacs per annum is the highest package of our college and the average is around 6 Lacs per annum. The lowest will be around 4 Lacs per annum I guess. Almost all students get placed.

Infrastructure: Libraries and classes are well-maintained and clean. Our mess is also maintained. It is pure vegetarian. But at the same, it is quite expensive too. Other snacks and cold drinks and shakes are also available. We have to mess on our col...
