Strong cybersecurity programme with supportive faculty.
Placements: For the placement drive 2024, a CSE cybersecurity and forensics branch has around 120-130 students, out of which around 80 got placed, and the highest salary offered was 19 LPA, and the average package was around 7-8 LPA. Major companies included IBM, TCS, Accenture and HCL. Top roles mainly consisted of a Security analyst.
Infrastructure: The entire academic building and labs are covered with campus-wide Wi-Fi. In speak hours, it may slow a bit, but overall connectivity is reliable. Most CSE classes are conducted in newer academic blocks, so classrooms feel modern. The biggest library you'll find in Pune has various books from different streams available. Hostel rooms are not luxurious, but comfortable and functional. Mess Food is average to good, completely veg. MIT has 2 different canteens, one of the premium ones called Encave and the other, a budget-friendly one called Shreeraj.
Faculty: The teachers in the department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most hold M.Teach/PhD degrees. The curriculum is industry-relevant. It includes cybersecurity tools, digital forensics, networking, cloud, AI basics, and hands-on labs. Semester exams moderate not very difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. Questions are usually from the taught syllabus. Around 80-90% clear the exams.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because I personally want to pursue a career in it, coz it is one of the fastest-growing industries. Better placement focus for cybersecurity-specific roles can be the only improvement. The campus has active events and fests, a friendly crowd, and a vibrant campus life with many clubs and activities. The surroundings are safe, well-connected, and student-friendly.

Life at MIT-WPU is good.
Placements: The placements, as I have heard, are good comparatively, but still, a few specializations, like business analytics, face a shortage of companies most of the time. But the other specialisations have many options and really good ones like KPMG, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are top-notch, and everything required for a college student is available on campus. We have a gym, swimming pool, MacBook-equipped labs, and many more things. Overall, the campus vibe is really good and aesthetic in many ways.
Faculty: The faculty is really supportive, the examination department always works smoothly, and there is no chaos in the scheduling of exams. The concepts are explained in a very nice and understandable way, and the faculty helps in solving doubts even during non-college hours.

It is one of the best college.
Placements: This is my first year in college and I am not more aware of the placement. While taking admission in college my staff member told me the lowest is 3 LPA and the highest is 1.5Cr. I do not know exactly they told me this only. There are many cloud of internships in this college but they charge. Till now I have not done any internship but I saw many companies coming to college for internship programme like Tata etc.
Infrastructure: It has excellent infrastructure and it has availability of Wi-Fi labs classrooms and library. Library is to good for this college. I did not see any college that has this kind of library. Hostel canteen food is not that good. Sports and game facilities are good. It has a dark side also some students are addicted to drugs and do wrong things. 1 or 2 months ago there a child ordered something from Blinkit and some things happened that the Blinkit boy beat our campus student he was full of blood.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful well qualified and knowledgeable. I am not ready for the industry because I am in my first year. My semester exam did not happen that is why I do not know about the examination. Some class tests and internal tests happened. They are easy and some are also hard.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the IT field and by Gods grace I got 96 percent in MHT CET.

The college has good infrastructure and plenty of clubs.
Placements: Seniors mentioned that most students from both technical and non-technical branches get placed successfully if they are consistent and make proper use of the training provided. College also organises workshops, mock interviews, and aptitude tests to help students improve their communication and problem-solving skills, which play a key role during recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best thing at MIT-WPU. Also, our (biotech students) building of work (maitre, Kashyap) has proper classrooms and labs. I don't know about the hostel as I don't live in a hostel, but some of my friends do. They have said food quality is not so good, also they have other facilities like washing machines and all provided, but still they don't like it much.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but in our department, there is a lot of communication between the faculty. They literally tell us today's to-do list before 1 hour before the college starts. Also, most of the lectures get cancelled, even exams get cancelled, and they don't even let us know unless we contact them.
Other: There are a lot of clubs where you can participate in, other than academics. It's really value for money as we can do so many things.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and faculty.
Placements: This year would be the first passing out batch for this course, and most of them have started getting placement with great packages. Top companies do come for placement drives. Most of them get placed as a Data analyst and risk analyst. As far as I know, the highest package has been 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has great on-campus hostels with Wi-Fi and all amenities. The library is just mesmerising, its ambience is on another level. Classrooms have a great ambience, as in our department. Mess food is average, but the sports facilities are just amazing. Overall, it's excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and well-experienced and teach us through their experiences and life perspectives. If you attend classes every day, then it would be quite easy in exams to score good marks, otherwise, it's somewhat difficult. The course is meant to make you industry-ready.
Other: MIT is famous for its events and campus life. It'll provide you with one of the best college experiences.

My experience as a final year student of BCA at MIT WPU.
Placements: Placement is decent, around half of the class has got placed, and its just the second last semester. Top recruiting companies are Infosis, TCS, Microsoft, Google, and Meta. 70% of students got internship from the college. The average package is around 6LPA, and the highest is 14LPA, not sure about the lowest.
Infrastructure: The college does have its own hostel, but it's a little far from the college. Maximum students live near the college in PGs as its convenient to travel to college. Infrastructure of the college is pretty good. Different buildings for each department with a well connected Wi-Fi network. Upto date labs with the latest equipment.
Faculty: Exams are moderately set, you need to start studying 1 week before the exam in order to score good marks. There are 2 written exams per semester. One is mid term and another is end term. Passing percentage is around 40%. Subjects are upto date with all kinds of things like AI/ML, which makes students industry ready.
Other: I personally chose Data Science because of my personal interest in cloud and data analysis. My course teaches everything that covers this modern technology. The course is new in the college, so my batch is the first one to pass out.
