In the selection process, there is 100% weightage given for the entrance exam and 50% for the personal interview round. The admission process for BCA (Science) course at MIT Pune starts with filling an application form. For admission to the UG level programme, i.e. BSc, candidates must have passed class 12. Also, candidates are required to appear for the MITID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) based on which candidates will be selected for further admission rounds which include the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final selection list is made on cumulative assessment of all rounds and for final seat allotment, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and fee payment.

To study a three-year BCA (Science) course at MIT Pune, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university norms. The minimum eligibility to apply for BCA at MIT Pune is to pass Class 12 in the Science stream or pass a Diploma in Engineering. MIT-WPU provides scholarships in the form of fee waivers, which are solely based on scores of candidates obtained in either MIT-WPU CET/ MHT CET/ JEE Main entrance exams for the respective courses.
