All the colleges are good but RIIM is best among all the other institutions for MBA/PGDM programme. The best part is ROI and the well designed curriculum. ROI of RIIM is best because the Course fee for MBA/PGDM+ Employability is 4.5 Lac and for MBA/PGDM+Employability+MDP the course fee is 6 lac. A student is offered average package of 5.5-6.5 lac and maximum is 13- 14.6 lac. So it is definitely worth to take admission in RIIM. RIIM has designed the best curriculum where they are providing 1 month MDP programme at IIM Indore, Certification courses like Six Sigma, SAP, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, NSE, Foreign Language etc. In Employability they are covering the Practical Exposure part which is very much important for present market scenario. Apart from this they have 1 month Educational Foreign Trip as well including certification. According to placement also RIIM is the best. They have 100% placement track. The dedicated placement team regularly train students with the Placement Readiness programme. All the reputed companies visit RIIM for the recruitment process and they offer good packages to the MBA/PGDM students. Both the institutes you mentioned are good for studies. Both of these institutes have good teaching faculty, placements records, and infrastructure. According to my opinion RIIM will be better then IPS Jaipur. They have top MNC's on board. A very supportive and dedicated placement team helps you get a better placement. RIIM is not only a top premium B-School, but also a home for everyone who has studied there. They conduct more than 15 industrial visits in Maharashtra as well out of Maharashtra. One more unique thing about RIIM is that they have 1 month induction programme which is very interesting, it includes guest speakers, team building workshops, corporate training sessions, outbound tours, adventure activities etc.

As such we cannot say which one is better over whom, because both the colleges have their own curriculum and pedagogy.
Like in MITSOB they have adopted cased based pedagogy and conceptual study. Plus apart from academics MIT believes in overall development so they try to encourage students to participate in club activities.
If you are comfortable staying in hostel and have a will to study for 365 days only then go for BIMM because they do not provide any holidays, classes runs on sunday as well.
So if you ask me, with overall prospective MITSOB is better than BIMM.

Hello Imtiyaz,
Both the streams have equally great opportunities once you complete your masters. I would suggest you choose specialization based on interest rather than scope because your choice will determine your future line of work. If you do what you like to do you have better chance getting work in that particular field. If you are ready to go on field or work in the market, choose marketing and if you comfortable with accounting or financal analysis choose finance.
Hope this will help you.

Hello Harris,
Yes, Students of other MIT group gets equal opportunity for placements. But then, it also depends on company's requirement.

Hello Vikram,
Cut off as such cannot be predicted because it entirely lies on the students taking admission for a particular year. But let me tell you, entrance exam result is only one criteria for admission process. Entire evaluation of admission process comprises of : - Score obtained by candidate at CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/CET exams, - Performance at Extempore Talk (Including written essay), - Performance at Personal Interview, - Past Academic Record (10th & 12th level), - Work Experience (if any) after graduation of at least 1 year or more. Hope that answers your question. Wish you good luck.

Hello Ankit,
Students of all the specialization gets equal opportunities but the highest placement for the current batch was the student of marketing. At MITSOB they only have one batch every year, companies start to come for placements from the month of September but every student eligible for the profile are allowed to participate in the placement rounds. It depends on the capability of the student to clear the rounds and get the placement. And many MNC do come in between September and December like Tata Technologies, Aditya Birla, Deloitte etc but also many companies like Markets and Markets, Kellogs, ITC, etc come in month from January to June. And since every students gets equal opportunities, we cannot differentiate batches who get placed earlier or later.
And the reason why you should go for MIT School of Business is because it is one of the most renowned college in India. It has adopted a case based pedagogy which is adopted from Harvard Business School which also includes conceptual style studying and not contextual studies. Faculty is highly experienced and many faculty carries an industrial background.
Hope this will answer your question. Wish you good luck.
