MIT-WPU Pune Answered Questions

Hello Sagar Gupta. MIT Pune was affiliated to sppu (savitribai phule Pune university) earlier. Now from this year it has its own university WPU (world peace university) and now it is known as MITWPU. Now come to difference: Earlier the fee was around 1.5 Lacs per year now as its an autonomous college so its fee is around 2.6 Lacs per year. Thank you.

MIT World Peace University is a good option. However, let me tell you that before choosing any B-School, you should definitely take an in-depth information about the Faculty, Placement record, Companies visiting and the students studying there. In my opinion, MIT being a hub for different degrees, one must undergo management education from colleges that exclusively offer management or a Bachelor and a Master degree in management as I have seen in many colleges (which also has engineering students) both management and engineering students sit for the same campus placement. I would suggest that if you don't have any other option then go for it but prepare yourself well and if you have other options then try for those. Also, talk to the current students if possible.

Hello! Yes, students pursuing their MBA from average or below-average college, unfortunately, end up with those low salary packages. MIT isn't really a good choice for pursuing MBA. There are much better MBA colleges in Pune itself like SIBM, SCMHRD, and PUMBA.
Being a fresher, it's strongly recommended to aim for the good, reputed colleges only.
