Well, of course there are courses for the same. However, an LLM through Distance mode is not recognized by the Bar Council of India.
So, it would only fetch you a degree solely.

Hi, there is no independent exam for NLSIU. You can get papers of CLAT, which is a central exam for NLUS if you want.

Hi Pratik,
A PG diploma is not a LLM so it doesn't hold the same importance as a LLM. Nevertheless, it's a course where your subject matter expertise surely did improve. As you've chosen international environment law, you should target companies that are engaged in and require environmental law specialist to guide them. This diploma is surely a feather in your cap and these are the things you can do:
1. Representing government agencies, enforcing laws through citizen suits, and challenging agency action in administrative hearings.
2. Become an Environmental Attorney
3. Practice Settings.
I. Government.
II. Nonprofit.
III. Private Public Interest Law Firms

Yes, CLAT (in this case) is necessary. It is also imperative to be a top scorer since it is the most sought after NLU.
Do self-study or join a coaching class.

You need to appear for CLAT examination (common law entrance exam) for getting into any NLU. For getting into any NLU CLAT score is the most important criteria and for NLU, Bangalore you need a score of above 145/200 in CLAT.
