A Good Gate Score is required to secure a seat at sgsitsThe problem is that after completing M.Tech from SGSITS one remains with limited career options, especially after doing M.Tech many students opt to teach in colleges & leaves the thought for a good job. Even many of our faculty members who pursued M.Tech from here teaches us & life is not that much good teaching here. But if you have passion for teaching than you could opt it, otherwise M.Tech placements here are weak as compared to IITs & NITs ! If one wish to do M.Tech than he should go for IITs & NITs !

Life at Nirma is quite different than other colleges. There are number of events held by different clubs and co-curriculm activities held by University instead of 9 to 4 lectures Mon-Fri and college exams held occasionally once a month.

If a student at ILNU fails in internal examinations i.e. CEE - written exams (mid-semester) or Project Work component (PW), will be marked IF (C) or (P) respectively in the course grade report. He will be given a chance before the End-semester examinations only after filling out an application form and requesting the course coordinator as well as the dean and director by framing a specific and valid reason. Otherwise, the overall grades would fall too. The minimum overall grade is 'C+' for any particular subject/course to clear it, otherwise, he/she would be marked NT (not term granted) which means he has to repeat that subject/course with fresh upcoming batches next year.
