To get a seat in Lucknow University for B.Com. in National Education Policy (NEP), follow these steps:
1. Check the eligibility criteria: Passed Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate or equivalent with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study. For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 33%.
2. Fill the application form: Visit the University website and fill the application form. Requirements for form submission include LURN generated through Lucknow University website, valid Email ID, Aadhar No., active Mobile Number, alternate Mobile Number, scanned Photo in JPEG format, and scanned Signature in JPEG format.
3. Appear for the entrance test: Admission will be on MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based Entrance Test.
4. Check the merit list: After declaration of the merit list, a copy of the list will be displayed on the University of Lucknow website. The candidate himself/herself will find his/her merit number from the merit list.
5. Attend counseling: University of Lucknow will be adopting an Off Campus Online Counseling for the B.Com. (NEP) program. Candidates have to register and submit choices after the result has been declared.
6. Pay the fees: Check the fee structure for B.Com. (NEP) programme on the University website and pay the fees accordingly.
