VITEEE is comparatively easy because it does not need you to have that much deep knowledge. It has English, Maths, physics, chemistry, and logical reasoning as well with no negative marking which makes it easy for every other participant too.:Physics questions were very easy. Most of them were just informative questions with little or no calculations. Chemistry was much easier than previous years and the questions were blindly picked up from NCERT. Maths was a bit lengthy and tough.

Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. My experience tells me that LPU has excelled in all these parameters, way beyond any other private university. So, go for LPU. Thanks.

State topper means the top scorer of the state board examination. Suppose exam conducted for 1000 marks and the highest score is 990. Then student with 990 marks will be the topper. It may be more than one also if other students have also scored same marks. But in the competitive exam ranking may change even though two people get the same marks. Like in the IIT entrance exam, they give weightage to particular subject wise marks followed by age and many other factors they had included to differentiate.

Being an alumni of LPU let me share some key insights. LPU has formed a contemporary record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Additionally, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 19.75 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 15 Lacs per annum (Trident Group) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. Alumni of LPU are working with top-notch brands globally with a package of more than 1 crore. Right from Google to Apple, students are working worldwide. Some of the top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon, TCS, IBM, Informatica, Capgemini, SAP, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Ashok Leyland, Voltas, Mercedes Benz, Honda, Daikin, Renault Nissan, Sony, Adobe, Virtusa, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Trident Group, Infineon, KPMG, Colgate-Palmolive and the list still goes on.

Yes absolutely! The last few years records says that the candidate receiving rank below 20,000 stand under category 1 and the candidates having rank less than 5000 or 6000 get CSE seat easily in VIT Vellore.

Yes you will get CSE in category 1. But seeing the situation it is possible that the seats might get filled. You can keep IT or CSE specialisation as a backup.
