Yes, MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. Vellore Institute of Technology offers MBA in six specialisations, namely Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, General Management and Production and Operation Management. MBA course is designed with a Curriculum for Applied Learning (CAL) and executes in a trimester pattern with a Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS). No, a minimum of Class 12 with at least 60% in PCM is required to apply for VIT Vellore BDes programme. However, there is relaxation in percentage for SC/ ST and students from North-Eastern states. Check below the detailed eligibility:
- Indian nationals/ Non-resident Indian National can apply for BDes course.
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 or Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised board/ university or its equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects to apply for BDes.
- Students who have appeared for Class 12 finals and awaiting results can also apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.
Note: In case, applicants belong to SC/ST community or hail from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, 10% relaxation is provided.

No, getting admission in VIT Vellore is not easy. Students have to go through the selection rounds and clear the accepted tests to get a seat. The competition is very high. Students have to crack the accepted test + interview/ counselling. But, with right preparation, getting a seat is possible.
An average student can get admission in VIT Vellore only with the right planning. The university offers entrance-based admissions mainly. So aspirants have to go through the exam pattern and score well in the accepted tests. The admission chances depend on different factors.
Entrance exam is not required for admission to BBA in VIT Vellore, as the admission is entirely merit based and counselling. Also candidates have to be eligible- Class 12 with at least 65% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST and others) with Commerce /Accountancy /Book Keeping and Accountancy /Mathematics /Business Maths & Statistics /Business Studies /Business Management /Business Economics /Economics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination
VIT Vellore BTech fee is between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh as per official sources. Students should pay the course fee after completion of selection rounds to confirm their seats. Admission will be cancelled in case fee is not paid. Students also need to pay registration fee to apply for admission. BTech application fee is INR 1,350.
