No, the Xavier's Institute of Communication conducts XIC OET entrance test in multiple days. For 2026-27 admission cycle, the university is expected to begin the exams in April 2026. The exam will be conducted in online mode and will include two sections.

According to Xavier's Institute of Communication, candidates are not allowed to write answers to subjective questions in short forms or SMS language. In case a candidate uses them, their answers will not be accepted.

The XIC OET entrance exam incudes subjective as well as objective questions. This means candidates have to practice to maintain their speed for solve multiple choice questions and write long answers.

The Xavier's Institute of Communication does not officially release the syllabus for XET entrance test. But, it mentions the important topics from which questions may be asked. Candidates planning to take XET exam must check Shiksha page to know the curated list of topics for exam.

Candidates must have following documents during XET counselling.
- Class 10 transcripts
- Class 12 transcripts
- Graduation certificate of qualifying exam
- Migration
- XIC Entrance Test Admit Card
- Category Certificate, if applicable
- Class 10 pass certificate for verification of age
- In case result is awaited, evidence of appearing in qualifying exam
- Self-attested photocopies of all documents
- 5 recent passport-size photographs

As XIC OET exam is conducted in online mode, the Xavier's Institute of Communication will share the login details and password, 10 minutes before exam starts.

As Xavier's Institute of Communication releases the admit card on applicant's registered email ID, candidates are advised to look for the XET admit card on the provided email. In case the mail is not there on the registered ID, candidates must check their Junk/ Spam Email Folders.

Yes, a candidate have to submit Statement of Purpose (SOP) along with their XIC OET application form. The SOP includes the motivation, reason, career goals and academic background behind selecting the course.

No, as per guidelines set by Xavier's Institute of Communication, to successfully submit the XET application form, candidates have to pay registration fee only via Bank Debit/Credit Card/ Net banking/ UPI.
