XIC OET

Yes, candidates who will clear the XIC written test will be called for interviews. It will be conducted via a Zoom call. Details about call will be sent to them on their registered email IDs. The interview will include questions based on general knowledge, personal academic histories, Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted with application form, etc. 

For 2026, the XIC OET interview dates are 24th, 25th and 26th April 2026.

The XIC Entrance Test has two sections.

• Objective Section: Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical skills
• Subjective Section: Total 4 questions to test candidate's creativity, social values, writing skills, subject specific knowledge, etc.

The last date to pay the FTII JET seat acceptance fee was November 10, 2025. Candidates had to pay their course fee before last date to confirm admission.

No, the XET 2026 results will be available on the institute's official website xaviercomm.org. Candidates only receive their XET admit cards via email that mention their exam dates and timings. 

Unlike several other mass comm entrance exams, the admit card for XIC OET is sent to registered candidates on the email IDs that they have provided while filling the application form. They can save and download it from there. In case they don't receive it in their inboxes, they must check their junk or spam mail.

• You must be 35 years or younger. 
• You must have completed at least 3 years of graduation in a stream approved by university (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.)
• You can also apply if you are appearing for or waiting for results of third year of your graduation course.
