No, candidates do not need to create fresh login for every attempt of CA Foundation exam. Students can register for the CA Foundation exam with the login created for the first time. The same login ID remains valid for the entire course. Students must note that to apply for the exam, they have to create a login at SSP portal of the ICAI exam and not on the home website. The SSP Portal login is valid upto 3 years for Foundation. Candidates can revalidate their login upon expiry by paying INR 300.

CA Foundation form correction window opens the next day of application form submission deadline. The form correction remains open for 2 days during which candidates can login to SSP portal and edit course group, test city and medium of exam. No other field of the CA Foundation application form is editable. If any student wishes to update their photo, they can do so at the SSP portal but before the application form submission.

Preparing for CA exams requires strong discipline, consistent study and good conceptual understanding. Start with registering under ICAI and begin with the CA Foundation course. Daily study of 6 to 8 hours, coaching support for core subjects like Accounts, Law and Maths, and solving mock test papers can help. Refer to ICAI study material and revision test papers. Time management and solving previous year question papers are key. Stay updated through ICAI's announcements and plan each level (Foundation, Intermediate, Final) well in advance.

It is advised to preserve the CA Foundation admit card even after the exam. The admit card may be required for reference or for any query in the future. Candidates should preserve all the documents of CA exams until their course is completed.

The link to download CA Foundation admit card will be available till the exam date only. After the last exam of the particular session, the hall ticket download link will be deactivated. Thus, students must save their CA Foundation admit card as a soft copy as well as a hard copy.

There is no negative marking in Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CA Foundation course as they are subjective papers. In Paper3 and Paper 4, which have objective type questions, there is negative marking of 1/4th mark for incorrect attempt. Total marks per paper is 100. Every question carries 1 mark. Thus, students must mark answers carefully in Paper 3 and 4, to avoid negative marking. They must not do guess work.

A candidate needs to score a minimum of 40% in each paper and 55% aggregate overall to clear the CA Foundation course level. Those who do not get the minimum score or more, have to repeat the CA Foundation exam.
