The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) follows a clear and detailed process to prepare the results for Class 10 and Class 12 exams. Both theory and practical exam marks are taken into account. Every year, thousands of trained teachers are involved in checking the answer sheets.
Students' final results are based on their performance in each subject along with internal assessments. Based on their overall marks, students are placed in different divisions. This system ensures that every student's academic performance is judged fairly.

No, absolutely not. The only way to achieve good marks in the CGBSE exams is by performing well yourself. The board has warned students and parents to beware of fraudsters who falsely promise to improve scores in exchange for money. Such people are scammers and have no connection with the board.
Students should never fall for such offers, paying money will not change the exam results in any way.

The final result is calculated by adding marks from theory exams, practical exams (if applicable), and internal assessments. Each subject has its own marking scheme. Students need to score minimum passing marks in both theory and practicals. The overall percentage is based on total marks obtained in all subjects. Grades or divisions are given based on the final percentage.
