If you're unhappy with your result and feel your marks don't reflect your performance, you can apply for a re-evaluation of your answer sheets. The board will open the re-evaluation application process on its official website soon after the result is declared. If there's any change in your marks, it will be updated in your final result.

No, there is no negative marking in the CGBSE exams. Students receive one mark for each correct answer for objective type questions. There are no penalties for wrong answers, encouraging students to attempt all questions confidently. However, students who write wrong answer for long answer type questions need will have their marks deducted.

Every year, thousands of students are unable to clear the CGBSE 12th exams. Students who fail still have a chance to improve their scores. They can appear for the supplementary (re-exam) conducted by CGBSE for the subjects they failed in. If a student feels their marks are unexpectedly low, they can also apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets.

To successfully pass the CG Board Class 12 exams, students need to score at least 33% marks in each subject as well as 33% overall across all subjects combined. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they are allowed to appear for supplementary exams. However, if they fail in more than two subjects, they will need to repeat the entire exam next year. Students who don't pass also have the option to take the supplementary exams or reappear for the exams the following academic year.
