Of course, it is.  A Civil Engineering career is stable and high-paying, to be honest. You can get a job in Construction Firms, Defence Forces, Development Boards, Municipal Bodies, etc.
This is an ever-growing field, and the construction never stops. Be it Bridges, dams, roads, Railways, aerodromes, ports, buildings, Sewage Treatment, and so on, one after another project keeps going.

Every infrastructure you see around you is Civil Engineering. Offices, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and even the infrastructure of a park are the work of Civil Engineers.

But understand this, CE is not just about designing and developing buildings. It's the art of making infrastructure safe, sustainable, energy-efficient, and functional. They just don't make buildings, but they also make sewage systems, bridges, railways, highways, and other resilient designs to make lives easier.
