Yes, candidates can get admission in the certificate course at Karmick Institute if I am not from the Engineering or IT background. The institute mentions the same on the official website that the courses are beginner-friendly and candidates from any field can get admission. However, if students have a better understanding of Maths and Computer/ IT, it would help them.

To be eligible for the B.Tech in Computer Engineering at MITAOE, Alandi, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- Entrance Exam: Must qualify the MHT-CET or JEE Main exam for admission through the central counseling process.

It is not about the marks, the basic eligibility condition for engineering is to complete intermediate studies, which means to pass in the MPC group.
