For the 2024 B.Tech Civil Engineering batch, the average package was about INR 6.5 LPA, and the highest offer was close to INR 35 LPA. Placement was part of a campus-wide drive. However, placements in the core branch can rely heavily on CGPA, especially for students with a CGPA of 8.5 or higher, and participation in recruitment waves.

Yes, ofcourse Civil Engineering can be a good option for Indian girls if you pursue this course from a good renowned colleges in India. The jobs at Civil Engineering is offered in both office based and field based roles. Pursuing BTech in Civil Engineering from good reputed colleges can provide you with various privileges.

With an ST rank of 10,580, getting Civil Engineering in any NIT is very unlikely. Most NITs close Civil seats for ST category under 5,000 rank. You can try state colleges, GFTIs, or private universities.

To pursue diploma in civil engineering at Government polytechnic College angul you have to give the entrance exam Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic who's score determine the result. 

But the cut off is not publicly available  by the University.

If you are interested in M.Tech course after B.Tech course and your branch is civil engineering branch then you can give the Gate Entrence examination for taking admission in government top colleges for M.Tech course 
And some other exams name is given as following 

1 BITS HD 

2 Karnataka PGCET 

3 OJEE 

4 TANSET ( Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test) 

5 CUCET (Central University Common Entrance Test)

IITs (Madras, Delhi, Mumbai and Kanpur), NITs (Tiruchirappalli, Warangal) and the other popular and prestigious institutions BITS Pilani, VIT Vellore and SRM Institute of Science and Technology remain the best bets to get a Bachelor in Civil Engineering in India. IITs and NITs are mostly offered based on the scores of JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Most of the privately owned colleges hold their individual entrance examination (e.g., VITEEE, SRMJEEE, BITSAT) or allow JEE Main result. The cost of Tuition at both government institutions and private colleges ranges between 2-8 Lacs to 3-15 Lacs respectively under 4 years.
