To apply for the BTech programme at IIIT Trichy, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2025 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. Also Candidates must go through the JoSAA counselling process by registering from the official website.

IIIT Trichy doesn't offer free admission. Candidates must pay the course specific tuition fee for admission to the offered programme. IIIT Trichy Admission Process is a multi-step process that is done in complete online mode. Candidates first have to apply for their desired courses by filling the online application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counseling process for the final seat allotment. Once the application rounds are completed candidates have to go through the selection rounds where candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam's score.
