No, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), including IIM Ahmedabad, do not consider the class 12th aggregate for admission to their MBA programs. Instead, they primarily focus on the candidate's performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT), which is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the IIMs. The CAT exam tests candidates on various parameters, including Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR). The IIMs use the CAT scores to shortlist candidates for the next rounds of the selection process, which typically includes a Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). In addition to the CAT scores, IIMs also consider other factors such as academic performance, work experience, extracurricular activities, and diversity in the candidate's profile while selecting candidates for their MBA programs. Therefore, while the candidate's academic performance is a factor in the overall selection process, the class 12th aggregate specifically is not a significant factor in MBA admission at IIM Ahmedabad or any other IIM.
