Yes, Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering (AMSCE) in Chennai primarily admits students to its B.E./B.Tech programs through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process conducted by Anna University. This process is based on the merit of the candidate's 12th-grade examination marks. While AMSCE does not officially advertise direct admission routes outside of TNEA, some private engineering colleges in Chennai may offer Management Quota seats. These seats are typically filled based on the candidate's academic performance and may involve additional fees. However, it's important to note that AMSCE has not publicly confirmed the availability of Management Quota seats. To explore admission options at AMSCE:Contact the Admissions Office: Reach out directly to the AMSCE admissions office to inquire about available seats and the application process.Visit the Official Website: Regularly check the AMSCE admission page for updates on application forms and deadlines.Prepare Required Documents: Ensure you have all necessary documents, such as your 12th-grade mark sheet, transfer certificate, and any other documents specified by the college.Stay Informed: Keep an eye on announcements regarding counseling dates and procedures. If you're interested in alternative colleges in Chennai that offer direct admission without entrance exams, institutions like SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology may have such provisions. However, it's essential to verify their current admission policies directly with the institutions.

Without WBJEE, admission to MCKV Institute of Engineering's B.E./B.Tech programme can be obtained through the management quota or JEE Main scores. For 10% of seats, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score and a 10+2 grade of 45% in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology and Computer Science (40% for reserved categories). As an alternative the management quota (10% of seats) permits direct admission based on eligibility; however it is subject to higher costs and availability and requires applications to be submitted via the college's website or office. Candidates with JELET scores who hold a Diploma or a B.Sc. can also apply via lateral entry.
