When it comes to math, it seems like a lot of folks are looking to pursue their Ph.D., whether in India or overseas, if we are talking placements, Statistics is actually doing better than Mathematics in our department.

Now, if you look at other courses, though, the situation is much brighter. They actually have solid placement opportunities.
