It depends from college to college, take for example FMS (Delhi) offers MBA while IIMs offer PGDM. Both have good placements. It's entirely on you that which course you choose. One important thing is that MBA is a degree which has its own benefit whereas PGDM is Diploma. Hope this help.

To get admission in IITs , you need to clear JEE Advanced with a good score. With JEE Mains score you can only apply for NITs , IIITs and other colleges only.

UG (B.Tech) admission in IITs and NITs are based on ranks obtained in JEE-Advance and JEE Mains respectively. Hence, on the basis of engineering Diploma, no one can pursue the B.Tech course in IITs.
