IIT (BHU) offers Merit-cum-Means scholarship to 25 percent of the undergraduates and other schemes such as Top Class Education to the SC and ST categories. The students can also apply to state and endowment scholarships as far as they are eligible. The SC/ST students can get reimbursements and allowance on mess fees and other necessities. Such scholarships will serve the purpose of easing the strain and encouraging inclusive education.
