IIT BHU provides merit-cum-means scholarships to 25 percent of undergraduate students. Apart from this, the institute also offers a list of international scholarships, including Rhodes Scholarships 2019, University of Oxford, USIEF Fellowships for Indian Citizens: 2019-2020, Japanese Government [MEXT] Scholarship Program 2019 for Research Students along with many more. All the students (non-sponsored) admitted to MTech and MPharm programmes are provided financial assistance equivalent to the junior research fellowships. All eligible students admitted to PhD programmes also received scholarships from the institute.

One of the best engineering colleges.

Placements: The placement percentage based on 2025 data is around 64%. It is a decent percentage, as many of the students opt for further studies and other streams, other than campus placements. SDE is the top role and is more beneficial for CSE and MNC students. Other branch students can have core placements too, as per their interests.

Improved placements in 2025 at IIT BHU.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed from my course with the highest package of 51 LPA offered by Microsoft. The lowest package is 7 LPA-8 LPA and the average package is 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Cars24, Google, Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, etc.

Placements: 13 out of 15 (87%) students were placed from the batch 2024-2025 in our course where the average package was 18 LPA-19 LPA given that not a lot of them were for core (in material science) positions because core companies like Applied Materials Inc. and Loham are offering upto 30 LPA offers. The highest package was 46 LPA in Meesho for the SDE role and the lowest was around 12 LPA. Placements: The percentage of placed students in our course is about 70%. The top recruiting companies are Mahindra, TCS, and Suzuki Motors. Placements: About 90% of people in my course are placed. The highest package offered is 51 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average for 2023-24 is 19.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include big software giants like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, American Express, etc. However, the number of students offered internships is comparatively less.
