The average compensation package was 6.5 LPA.However, according to the NIRF 2022 report, MIET placements in 2021 involved a total of 607 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. The typical salary for BTech students was INR 3.60 LPA. The median compensation for MBA and MPharma programs was INR 3.75 LPA and INR 3.12 LPA, respectively.The highest package in the 2023 placement drive was 13 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, Cisco, HCL, etc. Many students got internships at Cisco. Top roles offered were web developer and software developer.

The cut-off for the JEE exam is usually based on rank and the closing rank for general category/Unreserved is 3,24,565 the admission is also given based on 12th grade under the management quota under which the candidate should have a minimum of 70 percent. While the students who have done Diploma can get lateral entry into the college in the second year.
