MIET Meerut - A decent choice for tech aspirations.
Placements: MIET offers decent placement opportunities, especially for CSE/IT branches. With top recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. However, core branch placements are relatively limited. College also conducts regular placement training and internship drives to enhance student employability.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MIET is well-equipped with modern labs, high-speed internet, and smart classrooms. Hostel facilities are decent, offering clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and a secure environment, although food quality can vary. Recreational areas and reading rooms add to the overall comfort of hostel life.
Faculty: Faculty members for bachelor of technology courses at MIET are supportive and knowledgeable, though teaching quality can vary. The curriculum is updated with emerging technologies like AI, ML, and data science. Exams are conducted regularly with a mixture of theory and practical assessment.
Other: MIET offers good value for money, especially for technical courses like CSE (AI), with reasonable fees and decent facilities. The crowd is a mixture of focused and fun-loving students, creating a balanced environment.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

To be honest, it is an average college, neither very good nor very bad.
Placements: In CSE, students who do coding well get placements, but those who are not that good have to go into sales or civil engineering for a job. Civil engineering placements are 100%, and this time, placements are overall average. Placements in the core branch are fine, and everything is fine.
Infrastructure: Facilities in labs are good. The infrastructure is also good. There is also a Wi-Fi facility. All departments have their own labs. Wi-Fi is available in all labs. Classrooms are normal and fine. There is a library in every block. Every block has its own library. All qualities are good. The quality of the hostel is also good. The bus and the mess food are a bit bad.
Faculty: The entire faculty is not that good. Most of the faculty members are not bad either, and there are some cycle students who have a lot of knowledge, who have studied at IIT and NIT.
Other: I chose B.Tech electrical engineering because later I wanted to get into the Indian Engineering Service. There is a core branch in electrical engineering, so placements are done from here. Events are organised. There are extracurricular activities, but none of them are of that much use, and all this is done through a certificate program, and something special.

Worth taking admission in campus.
Placements: There are no such companies for which we are preparing. Most of the companies offer low packages as they are mass recruiters. Students have to suffer a lot to get their dream job, as the college academics are not helping on the placement grounds.
Infrastructure: There are various labs, but most of the lab assistants are not trained to handle advanced levels of research work. The canteen area doesn't even have chairs to sit on, so you must stand with a table to eat something. The mess food is so weird that most students prefer to drink water rather than eat the mess food.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are studying the subjects forcefully, as they are out of their field, by providing notes from the authorities. This creates a gap in the system, resulting in a lack of proper understanding of the subject. The curriculum is oriented only towards the end semester, not from a placement point of view.
Other: Various fests and events are organized; most of them are by student teams, while some are annual events like Kolhaal, in which every year some celebrities are invited to perform at the event.

The college has great infrastructure and campus facilities.
Placements: Usually, placement is all about your efforts. College just give you some training about company interview. Your efforts and dedication are what matters. College is putting all efforts from their side. It is you who will secure your place. Companies visit the college.
Infrastructure: Every department has its building. The college has an inside canteen and 1st year has a different building. The infrastructure is good. The college has water, fan labs, and all basic facilities that are required irrespective of branches and year. We have sports-related activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and help us to solve problems. The teaching quality is all very good. The course curriculum is followed according to AKTU and is relevant. Semester exams are also very good. They conduct semester exams as per AKTU guidelines in the best way possible.

College is good if you are consistent in your hard work.
Placements: Software engineer and system engineer roles are also provided to the students. But nowadays college is focused on AWS also cloud-related jobs should be open in the future. The drawback of this college is that companies are provided most of the jobs along with the bond.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food is average or below average. Because of the same food for a long period as time passes fees increase but the quality of the facilities decreases. As much I prefer that take the room outside the college for better environment and freedom.
Faculty: It is not difficult to pass the exam but I don't have any idea about the passing percentage. Curriculum is old school type, AKTU is provided the curriculum so you should take more information about this university so if take the admission take it on your risk.
Other: In the core CSE branch there are lots of students. The good thing is that they provide training depending on your interest but if I get admission in 2025 then I will prefer AIML for better opportunities.

Not satisfied with placements. Campus is good and faculty is cooperative.
Placements: The maximum package offered was 8 LPA, which was cracked by 1 student. The minimum was 2 LPA. 30% of students got placed. The total number of students was around 400. Top companies were Deloitte, TCS, TransUnion, Wipro, and Capgemini, and some small startups. Around 30% of students got internships. Software developer and associate are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: This college offers all labs needed for your course. The condition of labs and classrooms is quite good. Total 3 to 4 libraries are also present for each respective department, open for students all the time. Hostels are decent with decent infrastructure and have cameras all around the area and food is nice.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are helpful. They are highly qualified for their respective subjects and mostly are Ph.D. Their teaching skills are also nice. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the course. If students follow it sincerely, they are good to work in industry. Semester exams are not too difficult. All topics given in the exam are tough in class, and the pass percentage is also around 80% different for different subjects.
