In India, colleges are categorised as Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 colleges according to a number of criteria, such as reputation, faculty calibre, facilities, and job placement prospects. This aids in the decision-making process for parents and students while selecting a college. The most distinguished and well-known engineering schools in India are Tier 1 institutes. They are renowned for their outstanding placement rates, top-notch faculty, innovative research, and academic brilliance. Reputable universities that provide high-quality instruction and favourable employment prospects are Tier 2 colleges. In the industry, they are nonetheless held in high esteem even though they might not be as prestigious as Tier 1 universities. These qualities make NIFT colleges the most prestigious; yet, NIFT Srinagar might be categorised as Tier 1 among them.
