National Institute of Fashion Technology, Srinagar Scholarships and Funding
“SARTHAK” NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme - To provide financial assistance to meritorious, needy and deserving students, belonging to the economically weaker sections of society.
It will be applicable to all the regular students of NIFT fulfilling prescribed criteria -
Under this Scheme financial Assistance to undergraduate students shall be provided as follows -
A) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Upto Rs. 1.5 Lakhs will be awarded with 100% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
B) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Above Rs. 1.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 2.5 Lakhs will be awarded with 75% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
C) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Above Rs. 2.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 4.0 Lakhs will be awarded with 50% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
“UDAAN”- NIFT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR FOREIGN STUDIES -To provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections and enable them to avail the scope of foreign studies as available in NIFT with collaborating partner institutions Regular students belonging to economically weaker sections of NIFT fulfilling the criteria of "SARTHAK” NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme", will be eligible for consideration under the “UDAAN”- NIFT SCHOLARSHIPSCHEME FOR FOREIGN STUDIES”. The benefits of this Scheme shall not extend to NRI/ NRI sponsored students.
