NIT Agartala provides scholarships both merit-based and need-based. There is a total of 11 types of scholarships provided by NIT Agartala. Some of them include Post Matric Scholarships (ST/ SC/ OBC), Minority Scholarships, Central Sector Scholarships (SC/ ST), National Handicapped Financed Development Cooperation, North Eastern Scholarships, Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region Under UGC, etc.

To get admission NIT Agartala course admissions for MBA, the minimum eligibility is to get a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate. Eligible students can further fill out the application form via online mode . Candidates are shortlisted for this course based on the score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT. Further, the shortlisted candidates are called for GDPI round. The selected candidates are offered seats through a common counselling process.

A valid GMAT score will be applicable for foreign students only.Students appearing at their final year graduation examination may also apply (with eligibility criteria up to last completed semester) Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally and candidates have to submit certificate of completion of the graduation degree. If they are not able to fulfil the eligibility criteria or unable to submit certificate of completion of the graduation degree, their admission will stand cancelled.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree of three-year duration from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA are eligible to apply for the course.
