National Institute of Technology Agartala has been ranked by the NIRF 2025 under the Engineering category at the 101-150 position. The Government of India converted the Tripura Engineering College to NIT Agartala in 2006. The NIT Agartala is one of the top NITs in India. Its M.Tech in Cyber Security is one of the best courses, as per market demand. 1. NIT Agartala approval details are not yet released. NIT Agartala has 13 departments under it. Agartala NIT offers UG, PG, & PhD programmes to students.
