The JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration window is now live for the B.E. / B.Tech course. The last date to register for the same is set as Feb 25, 2026. Further, the exam for the same is going to be held from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
NIT Agartala BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
NIT Agartala BTech is a four-year duration in seven streams. Admission to this programme is completely entrance-based. National Institute of Technology Agartala offers admission to the BTech course based on JEE Main score followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of JEE Main results to manage the seat allotment process.
The course is offered in different specialisations, such as computer science engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, etc. BTech students who are selected through JoSAA would receive communication from NIT Agartala. Given below is the minimum eligibility criteria for the course:
Eligibility: Class 12 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject) with at least 75% aggregate.

As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. For the National Institute of Technology Agartala BTech admission, candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to apply for JEE Main. The step-wise application process for JEE Main are given below:
Step 1.1: Open the official website.
Step 1.2: Click on the “JEE Main Registration” link.
Step 1.3: Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration. After the completion of the JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration.
Step 1.4: After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. NIT Agartala approval details are not yet released. NIT Agartala has 13 departments under it. Agartala NIT offers UG, PG, & PhD programmes to students. These courses are given across the Management, Engineering, and various other streams. Tripura Engineering College was converted to the NIT Agartal
