I am satisfied with my college. It gives us so many opportunities if we are hardworking and aware.

Placements: Placements are pretty decent. Many tech companies, such as Oracle, Cisco, PhonePe, and Paytm, visit the campus for SDE and Data Scientist roles. Many companies allow core branches to sit for tech placements as well. Core companies like Tata Steel, SLB, and Reliance also visit the campus for core branch recruitment. The placement percentage is also very good.

A true review by a student.

Placements: Placement is average. Many people usually prepare for software-related roles because more companies are coming into this field but if you are preparing for core, there could be fewer opportunities for you. Data Analyst, software engineer, etc., are roles offered. Although internship opportunities are good in this branch. Usually top companies come for internships, like Cisco, Accenture, etc.

I am absolutely satisfied with my college. My best decision was taking admission in NIT.

Placements: Around 90 percent of students are placed. The highest package is around 52 LPA. Microsoft is one of the top hiring companies. Around 50 students get internships. The top role offered is Software Development Engineer (SDE). At my college, the off-campus placement conditions are also good. There is a good hackathon culture.

A place for overall growth.

Placements: Total strength in ECE is about 110 students every year, students (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). In 2026, among 110 students, 86% students got placed on campus in reputed companies. Top recruiters are LNT, BHEL, Bharat Electronics, Microsoft, Google, Siemens, HDFC, Oracle, etc.

A good college, as an NIT, but can be better in many other ways. Though the NIT tag helps a lot.

Placements: In B.S. + M.S. in Physics, most students opt for higher studies. Only a few opt for placements, and that too only BSMS mathematics students sit for placements mostly. Only 10% of students get placed. Companies like Cisco and PhysicsWallah come to recruit students. Roles like software engineer and teacher are offered in my course. The highest package is 19 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Research internships like IISC Bangalore and IISERs are most common.

College is totally good. I suggest students don't join the BS degree if they want placements.

Placements: In my course, there are 25 seats, out of which 21 seats have been filled. Out of them, only 9 students are placed as there are low placements. In the last year, only 2 students got placements with a package of 15 LPA. Some students got placements with the package ranging from 6-8 LPA because of the BS degree. Only 15 to 20 companies hire students from our course.
