It is good to pursue MTech course at NIT Jamshedpur. National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, provides a two-year full-time MTech programme. For admission, candidates must visit the official website of the institute to submit an online application. Candidates are selected on the basis of GATE exam scores. Aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria, i.e., a candidate must have passed and secured at least a 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate in graduation. As per placement, there were more than 250 companies that visited during NIT Jamshedpur placements 2023. The overall placement rate stood at 98.87%. The top recruiters were Axis Bank, Deloitte, DE Shaw and Co., Flipkart, ICICI Bank, Genpact, Oracle, etc.

Firstly I would say don't go for ECE branch until you are keenly interested into electronics core subjects, because in my personal experience I have seen 90% electronics graduate settling down in IT industry (may be in India core electronics job are less), so if ultimately you have to be in IT industry go for CSE.

JEE Advanced Exam is for admission in IITs. To get admission in NIT J you only need good score in JEE Mains. Not Only in NIT J or any other NITs you only need Good JEE Mains Score.

So basically if you are interested in coding go for CSE at iiit Jabalpur. One of my brothers also did B.Tech from iiit Jabalpur from CSE branches and now he is placed for a package of 18 LPA. Go for ECE at Jamshedpur as it is one of the prestigious colleges in India. The average package is around 16 lacs per annum.
