NIT Jamshedpur admission 2023 is primarily entrance-based. National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, was established as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Bihar. The Institute adopts the MHRD,  Government of India guidelines for admission to all academic programmes of the Institute. NIT Jamshedpur has 12 departments with seven Undergraduate (UG) programmes, 23 postgraduate (PG) programmes and PhD Programmes.

It is an excellent college.

Placements: Many students got placed in our college. Placements are increasing every year. The placement rate of our branch is 94%. The highest salary package offered is 72 LPA. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: All hostels are very good. In the first year, around two students can stay in one room. Every student gets an individual room from the second year. The mess is near the hostel.

Placements: Our college provides placement opportunities. Our college provides one of the best placements. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 18 LPA. Around 3 students got placed with a salary package of 80 LPA. Almost all students got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are Meta, Mech, Pie, etc. Many students got placed in Tata.

It is an excellent college because of its placements.

Placements: Our college provides excellent placements. Almost 97% of students are placed. Almost all students have been placed in the CSE and ECE branches. Around 98.9% of students are placed in the mechanical branch. Approximately 72.5% of students are placed in the electrical branch. The salary package offered is 14.72 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Vedanta, etc., visit our campus. Only 5-6 students get internships.

This college gives you an assured placement.

Placements: In our course, 98.6% of students got placed with an average salary package of around 10.2 LPA. The highest salary package was 24 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Power, L&T, Bajaj, and Hero were the top recruiting companies. Almost 30% of students got internships at companies like Tata Motors, Tata Steel, etc. They offered the role of graduate trainee engineer.

Infrastructure: The core branches had the best facilities. We had a newly constructed academic building. It had centrally air-conditioned classrooms equipped with projectors. Almost all labs were available, but the machines were old. The library was huge. It had around 100000 books related to engineering. Hostels were excellent. They were even better than the IIT hostels. Placements: Almost 94.68% of students got placed in our course. The minimum salary package offered was 97.20 LPA. The average salary package offered was 15.20 LPA. For general category, the rank should be below 12000 (Home state)
For OBC category, your category rank should be under 4000 (Home state)
Note that if your category rank is 4000, you would not get it in the first round of counselling, you will have to wait for further subsequent rounds. Best of Luck.

For metallurgical Engineering NIT is the best if we check placements then you will find that NIT is better than IIEST Shibpur. For further studies, the best NIT colleges are NIT Durgapur, NIT Warangal, NIT Rourkela, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Karnataka, NIT Jaipur. Best of luck for your future.
