Best NIT in India. Placement is good.

Placements: 96% of students are placed. The highest package is 17LPA. Top recruiting companies are LNT, Tata Steel, Jusco, etc. They get internship in Jusco about 50% and many more companies like ICICI Bank, all the students did a great job in placement also.

Satisfied with college. Actually, I started preparation for JEE in a drop year.

Placements: In general, our branch almost every student got placed. Generally, civil engineering branch students prefer to go for government jobs rather than any corporate jobs. Besides all that, people got good placements from many companies like L&T.

Placements are decreasing in every successive batch. So, we should work on NIRF and infrastructure.

Placements: More than 90% of students are placed. 1.44 crores is the highest, and average is around 13 LPA CTC. Recruiting companies are Google, Atlasian, PayPal, JP Morgan, Amazon, Optum, Flipkart, HP, Adobe, Salesforce, Tata, Adani, Microsoft, Samsung, Bajaj, ICICI Bank, HP, Aditya Birla Group, etc. Mostly go as a SW engineer.

The infrastructure is okay, but the placements are good.

Placements: The placements are good, and the placement cell is also supportive. It is one of the best colleges for core placements, having much better core placements and percentage than any other NITs in the list. The college is known for this placement more than any other.

Good faculty, good placement, infrastructure and facilities should be improved.

Placements: One of the biggest plus points of our college NIT Jamshedpur is its placement stats. They are just too good and easily comparable to top NITs and even a few IITs. Talking about placement percentage, it's more or less always above 90% if taking major branches into account. In my branch, i.e., ECE, it's almost around 90-95%, the highest being 84 LPA last year, and the average being around 20 LPA, with the lowest being around 8. Top recruiting companies include many IT companies and a few core comp...

my college is not good but not bad

Placements: Around 85 - 90% of students from the CSE department are typically placed. The highest package offered in recent years has been approximately 86 LPA (varies yearly). Lowest package is usually around 6-7 LPA. The average package for CSE students tends to be in the range of 12-15 LPA. Major recruiters include companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Adobe, Atlassian. Around 60-70% of students secure internships during their course.
