No, as per official website of Global Media Education Council, there is only one correct answer in GMCET exam. Question paper has multiple type questions. So, students must select one answer during exam.

The Global Media Education Council releases GMCET syllabus for UG admissions on its official website. To check the syllabus and important subjects, candidates must visit gmcet.org and click on Exam Structure under Examination tab on header menu.

Candidates have to pay the GMCET 2026 application fee via UPI, Paytm, Credit/Debit card, net banking. The application fee to register for GMCET is INR 1000. Candidates can now fill and submit the registration form to appear for the exam.

The GMCET application form was released by GMEC on January 02, 2026 at gmcet.org. Candidates can now apply for admission to undergraduate courses like BJMC, BMS, BMC, BMM, BSc (in various media disciplines), and BA at various participating universities.

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses offered through GMCET exam 2026, can access the registration form at gmcet.org, once released. The GMCET registration form 2026 is expected to be released in the first week of September 2025.

  • Passport-size Photograph (recent)
  • Scanned Signature
  • Proof of Educational Qualification (Marksheet of Class 12)
  • Valid ID Proof (Aadhar Card, Driver's License, etc.)

Students must check the official GMCET website for any changes.

To get admission at Global Media Education Council, students have to submit the GMCET 2026 application form by paying the registration fee of INR 1000. Students can make the payment via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

The GMCET result 2026 will be released tentatively in the first week of August 2026. The Global Media Education Council will declare the result on the official website: gmcet.org. The result will be declared merit-wise like (The all India Ranking). Aspirants will also be able to check their scorecard after the declaration of the GMCET result. To check their scorecard, they will have to log into the official website using their credentials - username and password generated during the time of registration.

Check below for GMCET eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must have a minimum education qualification of Higher Secondary or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent for General Category & 45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC. OR
  • They should be appearing for Higher Secondary or any equivalent education.
  • A student with a three or four year diploma, from a recognised university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50 per cent marks can also apply.
