Yes, the Global Media Education Council (GMEC) has released the GMCET syllabus 2026 for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses on the official website. Candidates appearing for the GMCET 2026 exam can check the details syllabus at the official website and at Shiksha Page.

There are a total of 4 subjects in the GMCET exam. The 4 subjects are - English language and IQ, General knowledge of news and current affairs, Entertainment media knowledge and Brands and brand communication basic knowledge. Each subject has 25 questions each which will be of easy to moderate level. The question paper will be based on these subjects hence candidates are advised to go through the subjects in detail while preparing for the exam. The best way to cover the syllabus of GMCET is to go through daily newspapers and magazines and current affairs website.

The syllabus of the GMCET examination consists of the subjects and topics on which the question paper will be based. As per the syllabus of the GMCET there are four sections on which the question paper will be based:
- English language and IQ
- General knowledge of news and current affairs
- Entertainment media knowledge
- brand and brand communication basic knowledge.
Each section will consist of 25 questions of 1 mark each. There will be a total of 100 questions that needs to be attempted in 60 minutes.
