The GMEC has not yet made any official announcement related to the exam dates for GMCET 2026 exam. However, it is expected to begin in the last week of July 2026. The mode of entrance test is online. Students will get one hour to complete the exam.

The GMCET exam 2025 will be conducted today (July 31, 2025) in online mode. Candidates can take the exam from any place from their laptops or desktops. The exam duration is one hour and consists for 100 questions, including 4 sections of 25 questions each. The total marks for GMCET 2025 exam is 100 marks. There is no negative marking.

The Global Media Education Council decides the marking scheme for the exam. The GMCET 2026 entrance test will be checked according to the following GMCET marking scheme 2026.

No, the multiple choice questions that appear in the GMCET paper are asked in English. There is no provision of switching languages for the test.
