Joining  Indian Institute of Photography for MFA course is generally considered a good option. Candidates must consider factors such as infrastructure, faculty experience, fees, curriculum, etc. while taking admission. However, the "good" factor can also vary from different candidates and their preferences.

To choose the right MFA course, first ask yourself what excites you most painting, design, photography, theatre, or writing. Look at colleges that are strong in that specialisation and check the kind of faculty, studios, and industry exposure they offer. Compare the curriculum with your career goals whether you want to become a professional artist, join the media/design industry, or enter academics. The right MFA course for you is the one that balances your creative passion with career prospects.

If you want to pursue MFA in India, then you generally need a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree which is also popular as BFA or equivalent degree in a relevant stream with at least 50% marks. Some universities or colleges also accept graduates from Humanities or Arts backgrounds with proven artistic aptitude. The Entrance exams and portfolio assessments of the students are common in top institutes in India.
