Hi,
Sorry to inform you, but admissions are not possible in IITs without securing a rank in JEE Advanced and JEE Mains for NITs respectively. JEE Mains and Advanced are excepted only in case for foreign nationals/NRIs which need to submit their SAT/GRE score for UG/PG course respectively. Hope this answers your questions.
Thank you.

Hello Naik,
As per your rank, your chances are nil for getting any branch at IIT's, however, it will be better for you to take a break and prepare well for next year.

FUTURE ENGINEER,

I recommend you to visit (josaa.nic.in) and check the last year's ST cut-off of your home state NIT. There, you would get the idea for your selection. And for IITs admission are purely based in the rank of JEE Advanced.
Best of luck.

To get admission in NITs, you need to score above 200 marks in JEE Mains. IIT admission depends on your JEE Advanced score.
All the best.

No, JEE Mains paper 2 can only get you admission into NITs, for IIT you have to qualify both JEE Advanced paper and AAT and get a rank in the open category. After that only you are eligible for admission into IITs for B.Arch or else you can't.

Yes, you can get admission into IITs with a rank of 15k in JEE Advanced. However, you will probably not get admission in top 7 IITs and in the branches which are the favourites of the most people. But indeed you can get admission into IITs with such a rank as well.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence was 5744 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Bhilai - Indian Institute of Technology.

Admission into NIT does not depend only on your JEE score. They also take your 12 grade percentage and many more. 80 is not that good a score but you might have a chance if your other scores are high.
