For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering was 102 which is very far off from the following range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology.

The minimum overall CAT score required to be shortlisted for the DMS IIT Delhi MBA programme is generally around 90 percentile. Whereas, there might also be sectional cut-offs for the Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC), and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) sections of the CAT exam, it's somewhat at least 80 percentile in each section. While the minimum cut-off is 90 percentile, the actual CAT score required to secure a seat at DMS IIT Delhi is usually much higher.

From my point of view it would be really difficult for a person who has only studied mathematical methods for a semester to be admissioned in IIT Bombay for M.Sc in Physics. Still apply for the course. But to study M.Sc in Physics that too in a college like IIT Bombay one should have atleast a 2 yeared core subject as Maths. Moreover even if you get a chance to study physics it would be quite difficult for you to cope up with the subject.

To get a lateral entry in any engineering college the procedure is you have to register through DTE website (type DTE on the Google and visit the first link). Second, after the registration, you have to fill the option form for any query. There are ARC centres or FRC centres, they will definitely help. But to get any information like cutoffs or any other thing to read all the information given on DTE website.

Yes, IITs have a certain quota for Kashmiri migrants. There are relaxations that the Ministry of Education itself gives in their admission process sometimes up to 10%. The intake capacity of their courses can also be enhanced by 5%. One seat in the merit quota has to be kept reserved there for Kashmiri migrants for technical and professional institutions too, including IITs. Importantly, domicile requirement has been waived for Kashmiri migrants, which in turn gives them an easier way towards application and getting admission within these prestigious institutions.
