Hi Vethika,
Yes, you will have to crack JEE advance with good marks to get admission in IITs. If you score around 50% in advance then there is a high probability that you will get an old IIT with a branch of your choice. For getting into NIT, IIIT's and other good colleges you must crack JEE Mains.

If you have all your documentation in place, changing the name post-Class 12th will not cause any issues for admissions at JEE-accepting colleges. For applying to JEE after a name change, use your new names as in the affidavit when you fill up the application form for JEE. Upload name change affidavit and gazette notification / newspaper publication (if any) Attach the affidavit during admissions, along with certificates of class 10th and class 12 provided your old name. It is done to maintain the consistency and making this you can avoid any trouble at getting your documents verified.

Hello Rohan,
There are some colleges which would add up the JEE main marks along with the board exam marks and admit students based on that scores.
So, you may try for it if you can't score more.
But why do you lose your confidence?
Aim to score high by doing hard work with dedication.
All the best!

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria:
JEE Mains is divided into two papers:
Paper 1: for all undergraduate engineering programs and
Paper 2: for Architecture and Planning programs
As a B.Arch aspirant, you have two modes to get admission in IITs and other institutions:
If you wish to pursue B.Arch. in IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee, you need to clear Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Students who have secured a rank in JEE Advanced are eligible for AAT. The entrance test will be held only at the seven zonal IITs. In a nutshell, to get admission for B.Arch course in these two institutes, one has to clear Paper 1 (B.Arch/B.Planning)... View more
Hi Gaurav,
Hope you are doing well. There is no special eligibility criteria for IIIT's. It will be decided purely by your JEE Main score. IIT's are very good colleges, because they come under INI's (Institutes of national importance). If you are not getting a seat in IIT go for NIT after that select IIT. Moreover, it also depends on the branch you wish to select. Some IIIT's are better in specific branches in comparison to NIT's.
Qualifying JEE mains and getting admission in NIT, IIT or GFTIs are two different aspects. Your admission in these institutes is based on the cut off marks and rank of these institutes.
I think you have bad Marks in JEE, then you will also not be getting any Government Colleges. You should try for other private colleges. Try this Shiksha college predictor to get the colleges on the basis of your JEE Mains rank. Wish you best of luck. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor?utm_source=cconnect&utm_medium=CR_JEECP&utm_campaign=6540165.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well. No, you don't have any chance for NIT or IITs because the closing rank of NITs limits to 2000. You can get a good government college with this rank and also good government colleges. Some of the colleges you can get are:
The M. S. University of Baroda-Department of Architecture
CEPT University-Faculty of Architecture
D. C. Patel School of Architecture (A. P. I. E. D. ).
All the best.
First of all if you are general then you are not eligible for IITs NITs or GFTIs as they need 75% marks minimum but if you are ST, SC then there is a chance if your JEE main marks is good.
then you get scholarship on your fee structure by IIT.
