After qualifying for IIT JAM Exam, you can get direct admission in iits and nits. The conducting authority does not conduct the interview process. If you cross the IIT JAM <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jam-exam" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jam-exam</a> cut off then you will get the admission in IITs and NITs.

The IITs prepared nine rank lists caste and reservation wise including general, OBC, SC, ST, PWD category. Last year, It was 67 marks for OBC applicants and 38 for SC/ ST category candidates

There is no particular cut-off score, instead, you will be having closing and opening ranks for each IIT that vary every year.
Also, the marks for each JEE Advanced paper are not fixed.
For getting admission into top IITs, your all India rank should be at least below 4000.

Once the exams are done, IIT JAM releases separate IIT JAM cut off marks for General, OBC and SC/ST students. Cut off for IIT JAM 2019 is decided on the basis of the difficulty level of exam, number of vacancies available, total number of student appeared, previous year IIT JAM cut off and average marks obtained by candidates in IIT JAM. Based on IIT JAM Result, candidates are then admitted to Institutes according to the preference of choices filled by them in Admission Form.

The admission into IITs for engineering programs is based on the ranks In JEE Advanced exams.
For that, you also need to clear JEE Mains.
The eligibility is to have at least 75% in board exams (for general category) and for reserved categories you need to have a minimum of 65%.
