Hello Nikhil,
The possibility is high to get an IIT if you drop a year and study, but you need to really work hard and you must be passionate towards your goal. The time of one year is really huge and so it should be used wisely, otherwise, it is better to get admission in any engineering college with your board exam marks.
If you are determined to study and dedicated towards your studying then you can get, but according to me, only if you can really work hard then you drop a year. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
The continuity of study is really important so that it is better to go to an engineering college now itself, but... View more

That is a very amusing question, Harshit. It is definitely not the end of the world. Whether or not they are worth the hype, I cannot truely say. But I can certainly say that there are many colleges that give competition to some IITs, like Bits pilani, CSE at DTU and NSIT etc. NITs ofder very good career to their students by very good placements.

Biology Teacher,

Dear Harshit,
It is ok that you haven’t studied class 11th properly but I think you have realized the same. You have immense power that you can change the scenario. See you changed, you have realized. Friends often tease but use that teasing as your power to prove that even after 11th, I can crack IIT.
You know it is never late. You start first. Remember one thing, things become difficult because we don’t dare. So, harshit take a deep breath and dare to change.
A very good luck.

You are not eligible for JEE Advanced as you require minimum 75% for getting admission in IITs and NITs. You need to prepare very hard for JEE Mains as it is the only way for you to get admission in the best colleges of India. Good luck.
