Considering the IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2024, the last-round for OBC AI category candidates stood between 4956 and 16011. So, candidates achieving 17k rank cannot opt for any BTech course via JEE Main including BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Nagaland.

The cut-off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 6694 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increase your chances of getting admission to IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Pursuing PGDM,

Hey,
Your academic scores are very good, but your CMAT score is on a lower side. I would suggest you to apply with multiple scores such as CAT, XAT OR GMAT. Cutoff for CMAT is on a higher side. If you don’t want to apply with multiple scores consider applying with CAT XAT or GMAT.
