If you have completed your Diploma then you can do B.Tech by getting admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech with the same branch. You can fill up the online or offline application form of the college you want for the lateral entry, they will take you in according to your Diploma score.

10+2 is the most basic qualification. However, make an informed choice as to what course you want to do. Like a 6-month foundation course or 1-2 years Diploma or a proper Bachelors of 3 years. It is indeed a promising field with lots of opportunities.
